Introduction
      
          Besides other plants used in S5, S6 also contains golden root or solidago virgaurea in 20 parts. It is therefore, called the drug of choice for renal diseases. 'S2' is also used in urinary disorders, but the effect of 'S2' is mainly on bladder than ok renals, so we can say, from downwards to upwards, where as the 'S6' shows it's effect, first on kidney then on urinary bladder, in other words from upwards to downward direction. It is mainly used for the treatment of renal stones and it removes the stones. It also acts as diuretic. It is used in the treatment of ascites. It is also effective as anti inflammatory and analgesics on gout and arthritis.

Therapeutics 

         Smilax medica : Marasmus and periostial pains due to venereal diseases. Eruption following hot weather and vaccinations, boils and eczyma. Urinary symptoms well marked. Shooting pain, from above right temporal region. Pains from oceiput yo eyes. Words revebrate in ear to the nose. Influenza scalp sensitive erruptions on face and upper lip. Moist eruptions on scalp. Crusta lactea beginning in face. 

     Tongue white aphthaea, salivation, metallic taste, no thirst, fetid breath. 

     Rumbling and fermentation. Colic and backache at the same time urine flacky, stemimy, flaky, sandy, bloody, gravel. 

Medicinal Properties
 
     Anti lithic, anodyne, nervine, laxatic, diuretic 

Dilutions and it's uses 

A. 1st dil : Indigestion, bladder inflammation, hyperacidity

B. 2nd dil : Renal calculus 

C. 3rd dil :Diabetes 

D. High dil : Polyuria 

Dosage 

A. Dry pills : 5 to 10 pills per day after meal for treatment of renal calculus 

B. Diabetes :10 pills with meal 

C. U. T. I : 5 pills 2 hourly

D. Urinary stones : 1globules per hr.
