Combination S3
S1(-NUX) + Rheum
Introduction
The third member of the Scrofolosos family, S3 sheds off Nux from S1 as its predesessor S2, but replaces it with rheum palmatum in place of lyco. Analogous to the smell of the plant itself, the patient requiring S3 smells sour in all its discharges., most of its complaints centre around abdominal distress with inflammation of the small intestines and the colon. The entire abdominal cavity and it's ring feels sore and aching with watery sour smelling stool. Despite sufficient washing, the characteristic smell clings to the patient who himself becomes conscious of the fact and ovoids public appearance.
