Combination S2
Introduction
Combunatipn S2 is a renovated from of S1. Number of the constituent plants remains the same as in S1 but the first plant, Nux vomica is replaced by the club moss called Lycopodium clavatum and that makes all the difference. The very presence of Nux, a polycrest of the first order S1 becomes the sheet anchor for almost all day to day complaints, contigent to the modern life. It covered the widest variety of disorders. Dr. Count Ceaser Mattei claims to have cured about one hundred (100) different diseases. S2 whereas, loses the broad spectrum of S1, is acceredited with the deepest acting remedy with Lyco.

This remedy maintains the secretion of hce and other digestive juices and it also stimulates the intestinal mucosa in +ve dil and +es intestinal secretions. So this way it is used in case of constipation and achlorhydria. In case of Hyperchlorlydria it is used in -ve dil and in case of achoo it is used in +ve dil.
This remedy maintains the composition of bile and is used in case of disorders which mainly appear due to faulty secretion of bile. This remedy specifically acts upon small intestive particularly on duodenum so it is used in case of billious vomitting, constipation and foetid eructaotions.
It cures gallstone colic, renal calculus, UTI disorders, hyperacidity, gastritis cervical lymphadenopathy , paralylitic afflictions and has various type of pain, rheumatic complaints , arthritis. Following is the description of the disorders for which S2 is an indicatee remedy.
Therapeutics
Nux represented a costive diarrhoea Constitution with gastric troubles, lyco is selected for an obstinate state of constipation with gastric disorders of a chronic nature with tendency to vertigo and slow digestion. It spends most of its influence on UTI region.
Lyco with slow, easily disturbed digestion, is indicated for the disorders of the old people, exhausted and emanciated with peppery taste, tongue is large, flabby, ulcerated, fissured and swollen, like that of sanguinaria feels scalded. Stomatitis, sore throat, gastro duodenal catarrh, empty feeling with spitting of bile, chest feels raw, jaundiced look, liver is markedly effected, mucous membranes secret thick yellow, ropy diacharge which is foul and excoriating from almost all outlets of the body i.e.mouth , throat nose, ears, eyes, urethra, uterus. Eustachian catarrh with hardness of hearing. Ozena with posterior diacharge. The patient is prone to develop sinus after coryza. Septum is ulcerated. Skin unhealthy, small pox, lupus, variola like eruptions and eczyma along the hair line or forehead. Frontal headache, cerebral effects marked. Neuralgia of the neck with weak muscular power. Hydrastis has a sharp tendency for cancerous growths, breast tumours goitre of puberty and characteristic leucorrhoea. Sexual excitement without power, gleety diacharge with decomposed urine. Cutting pain in testes, prolapsus of rectum, anus fissured and bleeding piles. Mainly cures urinary system disorders and glandular disturbance. It also acts anti dote to S1 which appear in the shape of constipation.

Dilution and it's uses
(1) 1st dil : Arthritis, cramps, acidity
(2) 2nd dil : Renal calculus, paralysis of upper limbs, gall bladder stone, acidity
(3) 3rd dil : Gastritis, leprosy, headache
Dosage
1.Dry pills : 5 -10 globules B. D after meal is effective in hyperacidity and gastritis and as analgesis. 5 globules with food are effective in renal calculus.
2 In high dil : The drug is effective in cramping of legs, hydrocele, chronic gonorrhoea and cataract of eye. Rheumatism, gallstone, constipation.
