The drug is effective in gastric disorders and improves digestion in stomach. On C. N. S., it is effective on cerebellum and sympathetic plexus and controls nausea and vomitting. It is highly effective in dysentry and diarrhoea. Along with 'P4 ' 'S10' controls coughing due to its soothing and tranquilluzing properties.
Therapeutics
This remedy particularly acts upon glandular strictures of the body as well as upon the intestines, nervous system and mainly acts upon those neres which are aupplying to the G. I. T. It also upon solar plenus and upon the sympathetic nerves, motor nerves as well as upon the peristaltic movements of the intestiones. S10 particularly maintains the quality of digestive secretions and regulate the digesture functions with the regulation of function of nerves. S10 particularly acts upon cerebellum and on the sympathetic pleners so it is mainly used in case of epilepsy, St. Vitus dance chorea (whole body trembling), gastric spasurs and abdonimal colics. This remedy regulates the functions glands with the help of nerve impulses.
It's strong dilution increases the functions of the organs stimulate the nerves and due to their stimulation the organ stimulation occurs. So it's stronger dilution is used in cases of neuraesthenia therila numbness. It also imprones digestion by peristaltic movement of the entestine, this coming constipation. In higher dilution it decreases the activities of the organ this decreases the recreation of the intestines, increases the water absorption in the large intestine, so it cures the diarrhoea and dysentery.
Hypersensitivity of abdominal spasms along with diarrhoea which becomes unbearble leading towards dehydration, complaints from hyperacidity, flatulence, toxication, abdominal distention, pain in back and perspiration.
Pulmonary complaints due to nervous disturbance as appear in case of asthma, pneumonitis, ch. Inflammatory condition of bronchioles along with excessive secretions and in case of alveolar disturbance .
Nervous disorders which appear due to stimulation of nerves mainly bagal stimulation and effects upon both branches of digestive and respiratory systems which leads to the catarrhal condition along with diaturbed spinal nervous system (sensory motor bath).
Medicinal properties
Anti diarehoeal, anti emetic, nervine anti scrofoloso, antiphlogestic, anti infectious, anti spasmodic, intestinal remedy.
Dilution and it's effect
(1) 1st dil : abdominal colics, dysentery , diarrhoea, and cholera
(2) 2nd dil : the drug is used for hyper acidity, meningitis , inflenza and other viral fevers, ascites , red ness of skin.
(3) 3rd dil:epileptic fits, hyateria, typhoid
(4) lighter dil:hyoer acidity, cholera
(5) higher dil: ascites, epilepsy and chronic dysentery.
Dosages
Dry pills:
5pilla , B. D after meal. 10-20 pils in white electricity. 20 drops used with 40gr . Water in acute abdominal pain and apendicitis., compress is also used for this purpose with S5.
