Introduction 

       This is the first combination of the 6th group of electroid compounds. Pettorales are further sub divided into 9 compounds and almost all of them are related to respiratory disorders. 

      Combination P1 is composed of six medicinal plants, all being fresh entries without having been drawn or used in any of the combinations of the previous 6 groups of the electroid compounds. It count No. 22 on the general roll of electro  compounds., 
   
      It is used during paroxysms of cough, especially when the cough is dry or when it is accompanied with sticky phlegm or foul smell and fetid expectoration. 

       It is also of great therapeutic value in the second stage of tuberculosis. It has marvellous properties to control inflammatory condition of the lungs. Besides chronic cough it manifests its splended role in pulmonary disease it benefits a great deal in Asthmatic conditions when used along with S10, A3, P3, P1 or P4 and C1 or C5.

Dilution and it's uses 

Ist dil. Chronic and dry cough 
2nd dil. Chronic pulmonary diseases. In asthma S10, C1, and A1 or A2, P4 are used along with it. 
3rd dil pulmonary infections 

Dosage 
  
      5 to 10 globules 6 times a day in bronchitis
